A non-protruding mechanism is also available on request. With this, the door entirely slides effortlessly into the garage interior. Situations where no protrusion is important include arched openings or locations where the garage faces directly onto a public space (streets or pavements).
Self-lifting with sideway counterweights has been perfected through a Silvelox clever and patented counterbalance system that allows the door to open by itself just by turning the handle.
The leaf is 80 mm thick and consists of modular multilayer sandwich panel units. The assembly system is patented and ensures firm fastening of the panels to a metal tubular frame.
The use of multilayer, marine-quality Okoume hardwood ensures great stability and high resistance even under the most challenging atmospheric conditions. The reliability of this technique is demonstrated by the fact that this same material is used extensively for nautical applications.
Within the multilayer construction mentioned above is a honeycomb structure that provides great thermal and acoustic insulation.
The special robustness of the mechanics allows for flush garage door solutions ideal for integration into façade claddings.
Security and strength are guaranteed by thick profiles made of galvanized steel or coated with heat-applied varnish, concealed under the external wood facing: a skillful balance of construction strength and formal lightness.
Each door, despite being ordered in the manual version, can be upgraded later through the addition of a Silvelox motorisation. At this stage, the door can be pre-arranged for connection to your security alarm system.
With the non-overhanging mechanism (on request), the sash retracts completely into the garage opening. This mechanism is suitable for arched walls or garages facing public ground (streets, pavements). Both overhanging and non-overhanging mechanisms do not require ceiling tracks.
Special painting on request with epoxy resins for installations near the sea or in situations of particular exposure to moisture.
